Atherton Villa

The Atherton Villa is a masterpiece of quality, exemplary architecture, and impeccable design. This 25,000 square foot palazzo was modeled after one of the most famous houses in Italy, Andrea Palladio’s Villa Rotunda, a Renaissance villa built in 1571 just outside Vicenza in northern Italy. This two-story home, with a 15-car underground garage and every luxury amenity imaginable, is beautifully situated among mature oak trees and new opulent gardens.
David created a grand residence that simultaneously integrated traditional materials of the finest craftsmanship sourced from Europe, while accommodating the needs of a contemporary family with children. The interior’s neutral color palette provides a backdrop for the client’s exquisite art collection and refined mix of 17th and 18th Century French and Italian fine antiques, mixed with carefully curated custom pieces of David’s design.
